Dear Parents/Guardians

For many of you, like me, I am sure that the global Covid-19 pandemic has taught us many things about ourselves and people around us. It has altered perspectives and priorities. It is with this in mind that I write this sincere letter to you.

I intend to express some feelings about the pandemic we find ourselves in, as well as provide information on decisions and announcements concerning the “programme” after this Mid-Term break. (I remind everyone that school resumes as per earlier correspondence on Monday 17 August. A slightly extended Mid-Term.)

You will be receiving a video link in the next day, to view my virtual “assembly” – essentially a “thank you” to everyone for keeping Clifton as Clifton… and adapting to the changed circumstances. It reflects “a day in the life of Clifton” with candid moments captured. As parents, none of you have seen the “inside of Clifton” since we were allowed to re-open. I thought that the video could give a glimpse of protocols and the new “normal” in their various forms in action.
