One always feels slightly guilty in noticing the little hop, skip and jump that seems to become more pronounced in pretty much everybody’s stride as Half Terms (and term endings) arrive. Perhaps it’s the promise of a metaphorical breath of fresh air or an opportunity, maybe, to walk outside and look heavenwards in the hope of catching a fleeting glimpse of a shooting star later at night than usual. It is usually a time to gather the strength with which to end the term strongly….
