Headmaster’s Newsletter – 05 May 2023

Dear Parents,

On 24th of February 2023, our Junior Primary (Grade 00 – Grade 3) hosted our first JP Art Auction. This is our only JP fundraising event for the year. The purpose of the evening was to raise funds to purchase an international reading scheme that we believe will be hugely beneficial for our children as well as two Rave-O reading kits. Rave-O is a small group, evidence-based literacy intervention curriculum for children in Grades 1-3, which empowers them to read text deeply to build knowledge, develop new ideas, and reach new levels of reading achievement.

The art pieces that were auctioned on the evening were made by The Pre-Primary and Junior Primary children, under the guidance of their class teachers, JP Art teacher Mrs. Jane Cahill and within the theme ‘A Celebration of Africa’….
