This week I experienced an event that will arguably be remembered as one of the best moments of my life as a teacher. One of our Cliftonians – Matthew Green, #47, addressed the children during our Monday chapel service. Matt is the current World Enduro Champion and he shared some insights into his life and journey as a professional athlete. After his inspirational talk, Matt gave the children an exhilarating demonstration on his motorbike bike showcasing an array of skills to his captivated audience. He even handed out some memento prizes to the children as they answered questions correctly.

The highlight of the morning was the way Matt engaged with the children. His gentle, kind, and authentic manner meant that each child was completely consumed by everything he spoke about….
