Headmaster’s Newsletter – 10 February 2023

One of the most difficult aspects that we as parents have to deal with is helping our children manage disappointments. This week, some of our cricket boys’ and tennis girls’ were faced with this reality due to a number of reasons. Remaining patient and positive even without the opportunity of exhibiting their skills in match situations is becoming tougher. During challenges as such, we as parents are finding it more difficult to motivate and encourage our children.

As a school, we continuously look for viable solutions, unfortunately it still however remains a reality we all have to overcome.
The real challenge is turning this seemingly hopeless situation into a teaching and learning opportunity. Even though it may sound easy for me to give you words of inspiration to use during this process, my plea this week is to find your own way in inspiring your child to keep going….
