Headmaster’s Newsletter – 20 January 2023

Dear Parents,

During this past week, I was forced to stop and unpack the word “Growth” and what it really means to me. Although I was comforted in knowing I am not alone, it still doesn’t make it any easier. I am of course referring to leaving your child at boarding school for the first time.

Experiencing this emotional event, made me pause and reflect on the journey our children find themselves on. Slowly transitioning between the different phases of life, our children are forced in and out of various comfort zones. We as parents, certainly are not immune to this phenomenon, as we find ourselves more emotional about these changes in life, especially when it comes to our children….
